Stop Staring ›

In the spirit of the coming warmth, it's time to shake whatcha momma gave you! And if you're not necessarily good at shakin it - at least show it off. Go ahead, flatter your figure - it is yours after all - and do it in body-hugging dresses, bold line prints and asymmetrical cuts. This tight in all the right places number is a great place to start the head turning this spring and summer. It's the aptly named 'Carmen San Diego' dress by Stop Staring. Stop Staring simply has the hottest Rockabilly inspired lines - and at prices you can definitely rock out to! -- "Carmen San Diego" dress, $140

Denny Rose ›

Denny Rose is certainly a line I can stand behind. It is quirky, slightly trendy, definitely hot perfection. Love the hat, love the jewelry, love the look! Brush up on your Italian before you love the site though, or you just might end up not lovin the price so much...

Custo Barcelona ›

Summer preview: asymmetrical doesn't always apply to ready-to-wear; in fact, I like asymmetrical cuts most when they apply to swimsuits. Go for the glory in this scorching hot cut-out number by Custo Barcelona (emphasis on the lisp). The print, cut-outs and color combination are making me anxious for 80 degree weather. Guess I'll have to learn to have some paciencia (patience, en inglés). One Piece Cut-Out by Custo Barcelona, $275 (hey, if you got - get this!)

Who Knew?

Less Bling is More.

This time around it's time to put the bling down... or away. Dainty, accent jewelry are the perfect pieces to round out an effortless, perfectly put-together look. A few of my favorite pieces I found aren't even real silver- they're surgical steel or plated- but they are the little staples that'll hold your whole look together.

Check me out in my prissy, bling! I love the Twisting Tree Necklace and matching ring. While it's delicately designed, the gnarly branches actually add a little eye-catching texture. And at $15 and $7 bucks, respectively- who cares that they're only surgical steel? Wear 'em and if you lose 'em its no sweat.

Holy Mary and be full of grace! I realize the appropriation of a religious relic as an item of fashion may be a little offensive to some... I happen to believe that imitation is the highest form of flattery. So bow down and thank THEE for Catholic rosaries! They are extremely elegant, versatile and come in so many colors, styles, beads- you just might covet thy neighbors or them all! Alibaba.com's got many of the styles you'll want.

Why Converse is Right; Everyone IS a Star.›

by (bad-ass chula)

Bloggers, it seems, are getting their 15 minutes by (literally) watching television all day and then going online and writing to a niche audience about it. In our celebrity obssesed culture, most of those getting paid the most for their opinions are those who blog about celebrity misfortune or speculation (really, Perez Hilton became famous for photoshopping white smears under Lindsay Lohan's nose and offering his opinion on who's gay and who's not).

Enough with the Logo Sunglasses Already ›

by (bad-ass chula)

Look, I love fashion. In fact, I'm kinda learning to breathe fashion- in a way. I'm learning to appreciate that which makes for good fashion but not in that superficial "What/ who are you wearing?" kind of way. I hate that. Thus, one of my reasons for loathing the ever-pervasive logo sunglasses.
